Last updated: 20 Julyl 2026

Welcome to Serenity Homes.

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website and the purchase of furniture and home furnishings from Serenity Homes.

We encourage customers to read these terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge the terms applicable to your purchase.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights.

2. Our Products

Serenity Homes offers individual furniture pieces and curated collections designed to complement a variety of interiors.

We aim to provide clear and accurate descriptions of each product, including its features, dimensions, materials, available finishes and included components.

Please note:

  • Product colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings and lighting conditions.

  • Natural materials, including wood and marble, may display individual variations in colour, veining and grain.

  • Furniture dimensions are subject to reasonable manufacturing tolerances.

  • Decorative accessories used in product photography are not included unless expressly specified.

  • Product specifications and available finishes will be detailed on the relevant product page.

Where a complete furniture collection is purchased, the product description will identify each piece included and the quantity supplied.

3. Prices and Payments

All product prices are displayed on our website in the currency shown at checkout.

Prices include applicable taxes where required. Any additional delivery or optional service charges will be disclosed before an order is placed.

We accept the payment methods made available through our secure checkout.

Full payment is required in accordance with the payment terms presented at checkout.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or product-information errors. If a significant pricing error is discovered before an order has been accepted, we will contact you before proceeding.

4. Orders and Order Confirmation

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement confirming that your order has been received.

An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

We will confirm acceptance once we have verified the relevant product availability and our ability to fulfil the order.

If we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you to explain the situation and arrange an appropriate refund or alternative solution.

If a contract has already been formed, your rights under that contract and applicable law remain unaffected.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during checkout is accurate.

5. Product Availability and Lead Times

Furniture availability may vary depending on stock levels, supplier arrangements, product configuration and manufacturing requirements.

Some furniture may be available for immediate dispatch, while other pieces may require additional preparation or manufacturing time.

Where a longer delivery period applies, we will communicate the applicable timeframe before purchase.

We will keep customers reasonably informed of material changes affecting their orders.

If an agreed delivery date cannot be met, customers will retain their rights under applicable consumer law.

6. Furniture Dimensions and Access Requirements

Before ordering furniture, we recommend checking the dimensions of the selected products and measuring the intended delivery location.

Customers should consider:

  • Doorways and entrances

  • Hallways and corridors

  • Staircases and lifts

  • Room dimensions

  • Access restrictions

  • Available assembly space

Furniture dimensions shown on our website generally refer to assembled products unless stated otherwise.

Shipping-carton dimensions may differ from assembled dimensions.

If you are uncertain whether a product will fit through your property or into the intended room, please contact us before purchasing.

7. Delivery and Shipping

Serenity Homes arranges delivery to the destinations made available through our checkout or otherwise agreed before purchase.

Delivery charges and available delivery options will be communicated before an order is confirmed.

Delivery times may vary according to product availability, order size, destination and logistics arrangements.

Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable consumer legislation.

Customers must provide accurate delivery information and a suitable contact number where required for delivery arrangements.

For large furniture items, the delivery provider may need to arrange a suitable delivery appointment.

Where additional services such as room-of-choice delivery, assembly or installation are offered, their availability and applicable charges will be confirmed before purchase.

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for further information.

8. Large Furniture and Specialist Deliveries

Certain items, including sofas, large tables, beds and storage furniture, may require specialist transportation or handling.

Customers should notify Serenity Homes of any unusual access restrictions before delivery.

Where a delivery cannot be completed because of an access issue that was not disclosed, we will contact the customer to discuss the available options.

Any additional costs for an attempted or rearranged delivery will only be charged where properly disclosed, reasonable and legally permissible.

We recommend inspecting furniture and packaging on arrival where practical.

Risk in the goods passes to the consumer when the goods come into the physical possession of the consumer or a person identified by the consumer, as provided by law.

9. Assembly and Installation

Some furniture products may require assembly after delivery.

Where assembly or installation is included, this will be stated in the product listing or the delivery arrangements.

Unless explicitly included, customers should not assume that assembly, installation or removal of existing furniture forms part of the purchase.

Customers should follow all supplied manufacturer instructions and safety guidance.

Heavy or tall furniture may require appropriate wall anchoring or specialist installation.

10. Cancellations

For most goods purchased online by consumers in the United Kingdom, customers have a statutory right to cancel their purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods.

Where a single order is delivered in separate parcels or items, the applicable cancellation period will generally begin when the final item is received.

To exercise your cancellation right, contact:

info@serenityhomesnow.com

Please provide your name, order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

Certain goods made to a customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised may fall outside the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.

However, furniture is not automatically exempt simply because it is described as made to order, purchased from a supplier or manufactured after an order is placed.

Any applicable cancellation exception will be explained before purchase.

Nothing in this section affects statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.

11. Returns

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, customers must generally return the goods within 14 days after notifying us of their decision to cancel, unless we have agreed to collect them.

Customers should contact Serenity Homes before arranging a furniture return so that appropriate handling and collection arrangements can be discussed.

Please do not send furniture to our correspondence address without receiving return instructions.

For change-of-mind returns, customers may be responsible for return delivery costs where this has been properly disclosed before purchase.

Because large furniture may not be returnable by ordinary post, any applicable return or collection costs must be communicated as required by law before the purchase is completed.

Customers may handle products as reasonably necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Where legally permitted, a deduction may be made for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary for that inspection.

For further details, please consult our Returns & Refunds Policy.

12. Refunds

Where a customer validly exercises a statutory cancellation right, refunds will be processed in accordance with UK consumer law.

Refunds will include the original standard delivery charge where legally required.

If a customer selected a premium delivery service costing more than the least expensive standard delivery option, the additional premium delivery charge may not be refundable.

Where Serenity Homes has not agreed to collect returned goods, we may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received or the customer provides evidence of having returned them, whichever is earlier.

Refunds will be issued within the period required by law and normally through the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

No unlawful cancellation or refund fees will be imposed.

13. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Serenity Homes aims to supply furniture that corresponds to its description and meets applicable quality requirements.

If a product arrives damaged, is faulty or is not as described, customers should contact us at:

info@serenityhomesnow.com

Please provide your order number and details of the issue.

Photographs of the product and packaging may help us investigate and resolve the matter more efficiently, although photographs are not an absolute condition of exercising statutory rights.

Depending on the circumstances, customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

These rights are governed by applicable consumer legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory remedies for goods that are faulty, damaged or misdescribed.

14. Natural Materials and Product Finishes

Some Serenity Homes furniture may incorporate materials such as solid timber, wood veneer, marble, stone, metal or upholstered fabrics.

Natural variations in grain, texture, veining and colour are characteristic of certain materials and may contribute to their individual appearance.

Such variations are not automatically defects.

However, all goods must still conform to their descriptions and meet applicable legal standards.

15. Furniture Care and Maintenance

Customers should follow any care and maintenance instructions supplied with their furniture.

We recommend:

  • Using appropriate cleaning products for each material.

  • Protecting vulnerable surfaces from excessive heat and moisture.

  • Avoiding unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight where this may affect finishes or upholstery.

  • Using furniture only for its intended purpose.

  • Following assembly and safety guidance.

Normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse will not necessarily constitute a product defect.

Your statutory rights in relation to faulty goods remain unaffected.

16. Complete Furniture Collections and Bundles

Serenity Homes may offer furniture as coordinated collections or multi-piece bundles.

Each collection listing will identify the furniture pieces included.

Unless expressly stated, additional decorative objects, lighting, rugs or room accessories shown in lifestyle photography are not part of the purchase.

Customers should review the listed components, measurements and finishes before ordering.

Where components of a collection are delivered separately, we will provide relevant delivery information.

Your statutory rights apply to purchases of furniture collections as well as individual products.

17. Intellectual Property

The Serenity Homes name, original website text, branding and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Product designs, photographs, trademarks and other content belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective rights holders.

No intellectual property rights are transferred to customers through the purchase of furniture, except where applicable law or an express agreement provides otherwise.

18. Personal Information and Privacy

Serenity Homes processes personal information for purposes including order management, payment processing, delivery coordination, customer service and website operation.

Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

For further information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

19. Website Use

Customers agree not to misuse our website or interfere with its security or functionality.

We endeavour to keep product information accurate and our website accessible.

Occasionally, the website may require maintenance or updates.

We may amend website content or product information where appropriate, without unlawfully affecting existing customer contracts.

20. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.

This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation and liability arising under mandatory consumer protections.

Serenity Homes remains responsible for losses caused by breaches of contract or failures to exercise reasonable care and skill where liability arises under applicable law.

21. Complaints and Customer Support

We value customer satisfaction and aim to address concerns fairly and professionally.

Customers can submit enquiries or complaints to:

info@serenityhomesnow.com

Please include relevant details so that we can investigate the matter.

Where an issue cannot be resolved immediately, we will explain the next steps and keep you reasonably informed.

22. Changes to These Terms

Serenity Homes may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our operations, products or legal requirements.

The terms applicable to an existing order will generally be those in effect when the order was placed, subject to applicable law and any changes agreed with the customer.

23. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.

Nothing in this section removes a consumer's rights to bring proceedings in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
